Richard I want to update you as to the progress I am having with the heritage project that the CN pensioners are on the verge of missing out on.
Richard there were 125 submission made to the Heritage Canada Partnership fund.
Out of one hundred and twenty five projects that were submitted from across the country.
The pensioners was selected based upon it merits and ability to educate young people on the cultural connections and contribution made by rail way workers on PEI And their link to confederation.
The story is rich with opportunity for the pensioners to achieve their goal to preserve the rich legacy of railway work on Prince Edward Island.
In order to be successful and to secure this funding which is substantial.A federal contribution 322,000.00 for the development of a Canada wide web site that will create a national profile of the contribution and the collection of Railway artifacts and the stories of railway workers on Prince Edward Island and the provincial capitals from eash province at the time of Confederation.
